Cape Town - People using a Cape Town highway were greeted with a strange sight this week: a naked man walking in the pouring rain. It was unclear who the man was or why he was naked but people later saw the man riding on the back of a scooter.
The man was seen strolling along the yellow lane of the M5 highway, near Ottery, at around 08:00 on Thursday, the Cape Argus reported.
The city’s traffic services confirmed that they had spotted the naked man on the M5 northbound near the Ottery turn-off.
“We handed the matter over to Wynberg SAPS,” she said.
The Argus said many people claimed to have seen the man before, walking in areas such as Riviersonderend and on Lansdowne Road.
